Simplicity moves into Myanmar/Burma
As anyone who’s opened a newspaper in the last year knows, Myanmar is opening up. After its long period of inward-looking dictatorship, this Southeast-Asian country is undergoing democratic reforms. With an elected government and a more open policy, long-standing sanctions against foreign investment have been lifted and the country is seeing a minor boom in tourism, infrastructure and resource extraction.
As new companies set up offices in the newly opened nation, they need the kind of IT services in which Simplicity excels. Whether it’s setting up offices, establishing internet connections under difficult circumstances or just getting office computers up and running, Simplicity’s done it all before.
Simplicity has established a site on 40th street, Yangoon to be its new country office and will begin construction and hiring local staff shortly. Watch this space for updates.
